创作背景
“Real Love”完全由
约翰·列侬创作，1977年首次用手持录音机录制。
列侬在1979年到1980年录制过6个Take，其中第六个Take（也被收录在列侬个人专辑Acoustic中）在1988年列侬的传记电影《想象：约翰·列侬的理想生活》作为开头及结尾的主题音乐，但音质较粗糙。
1995年，
保罗·麦卡特尼拿到了歌曲的母带，和另外两位披头士成员及Jeff Lynne对其进行了重新混缩并加入三人的声音，使它成为了乐队的整体作品。
歌曲评价
相对Lennon的第六个Take而言，披头士的Real Love更加热烈，融入了Ringo有特色的鼓点，加入的各种乐器的声音控制得很到位，使人在热烈的歌曲中想到多年前的
All You Need Is Love，和Lennon对爱与和平的不懈追求，不由感触伤怀，催人下泪。
